A two-program combo track · build & ship embedded Linux on edge/AI platforms

Build and ship embedded Linux on edge AI — the fastest way there

For engineers who want to go from solid Linux fundamentals to building and shipping real embedded Linux images on edge/AI boards — without diving into kernel internals or device drivers. Two programs, one sequence, one mentor: Linux Systems Programming, then Embedded Linux on EdgeAI platforms.

OverviewWho it's for

The Embedded Linux Fast-Track is the quickest route for engineers who need to build and ship embedded Linux on edge and AI platforms — board bring-up, custom images, and deployment with Yocto — without first spending months on kernel internals or device-driver development.

It bundles two programs into one guided sequence: you start with Linux Systems Programming to lock in the system-level fundamentals, then move straight into Embedded Linux on EdgeAI platforms to build, customise, and deploy real images on real boards. One mentor takes you end to end.

If your goal is to get a working device out the door quickly, this is your track. If you also want to author and debug kernel code and device drivers for kernel/driver-developer roles, see the Embedded Linux Mastery Track.

🚀 Upgrade to Mastery anytime — pay only the difference. Start fast now; if you later want kernel internals and device-driver development, add the Kernel and Device Drivers depth and we credit what you've already paid.

Your journeyTwo programs, one sequence

Both programs in this track are shared with the Mastery Track and marked in green. You progress in order, with one mentor across the whole journey.

OutcomesWhat you'll be able to do

  • Apply system-level Linux programming — processes, memory, IPC and the toolchain — with confidence.
  • Build and customise embedded Linux images end to end using the Yocto Project.
  • Perform board bring-up and configure Linux for edge and AI hardware platforms.
  • Deploy, update and ship a real embedded Linux device.
  • Integrate edge-AI workloads onto a working embedded Linux platform.
  • Move into embedded Linux build & integration roles — the fastest route to a shippable product.

What's includedEverything in the combo

  • Linux Systems Programming — full program (shared foundation).
  • Embedded Linux on EdgeAI platforms — full program (build & ship).
  • One mentor end to end — Raghu Bharadwaj across both programs.
  • Certificate on completion of the track.
  • Combo saving versus enrolling in the two programs individually.
  • Option to upgrade to the Mastery Track anytime — pay only the difference.

FAQsCommon questions

In what order do the two programs run?+
They run in sequence: Linux Systems Programming first to build the system-level foundation, then Embedded Linux on EdgeAI platforms to build and ship. You move through them as one guided journey with the same mentor.
How does payment and EMI work for the combo?+
The track is sold as a single upfront registration at a combo price. We support EMI, UPI and cards — talk to the team for options. The combo price is lower than enrolling in the two programs individually.
Can I upgrade to the Mastery Track later?+
Yes — you can upgrade to the Mastery Track anytime and pay only the difference. The Fast-Track shares both its programs with Mastery, so when you add the Kernel and Device Drivers depth we credit what you've already paid. See the Mastery Track.
What are the prerequisites — and what if I've already done a program?+
You should be comfortable with Linux and C at a working level. If you've already completed one of the included programs (for example Linux Systems Programming), tell us — we credit it toward the track so you only pay for what's left.
