OverviewWho it's for

The Embedded Linux Mastery Track is the complete path for engineers who want to understand Linux all the way down — and write code that runs inside it. It takes you from system-level fundamentals through kernel internals and device-driver development, then on to building and shipping embedded Linux images on edge/AI hardware.

It bundles four programs into one guided sequence: Linux Systems Programming, Linux Kernel Infrastructure, Linux Device Drivers, and Embedded Linux on EdgeAI platforms — taught end to end by one mentor.

The difference between this and the Fast-Track is the kernel and device-driver depth: this track equips you to read, write and debug kernel code and drivers, qualifying you for kernel and driver-developer roles — not just to build and ship.

🏆 This track already includes the full depth. Kernel Infrastructure and Device Drivers are built in — there's nothing to upgrade later. It's the most complete path and the biggest combo saving.

Your journeyFour programs, one sequence

Steps in green are shared with the Fast-Track; steps in orange are the depth only the Mastery Track includes — kernel internals and device-driver development. One mentor across the whole journey.

1

Linux Systems Programming

Shared

System-level Linux skills — processes, memory, files, IPC and the toolchain — the foundation everything else builds on.

2

Linux Kernel Infrastructure

Depth

Go under the hood into the core kernel subsystems — the internals you need before developing drivers.

View program →
3

Linux Device Drivers

Depth

Design, write and debug Linux drivers across real hardware — char, PCI, USB, I²C/SPI and AI-accelerated pipelines.

4

Embedded Linux on EdgeAI platforms

Shared

Build, customise and deploy embedded Linux images with Yocto on edge/AI boards — board bring-up to a shippable device.

OutcomesWhat you'll be able to do

  • Apply system-level Linux programming — processes, memory, IPC and the toolchain — with confidence.
  • Navigate the core Linux kernel subsystems and how they fit together.
  • Write, build and debug kernel code and device drivers for real hardware.
  • Work across char, PCI, USB, I²C/SPI and AI-accelerated driver stacks.
  • Build, customise and ship embedded Linux images with Yocto on edge/AI boards.
  • Qualify for kernel and driver-developer roles — the complete, role-ready depth.

What's includedEverything in the combo

  • Linux Systems Programming — full program (shared foundation).
  • Linux Kernel Infrastructure — full program (kernel internals depth).
  • Linux Device Drivers — full program (driver-development depth).
  • Embedded Linux on EdgeAI platforms — full program (build & ship).
  • One mentor end to end — Raghu Bharadwaj across all four programs.
  • Certificate on completion of the track.
  • The biggest combo saving versus enrolling in the four programs individually — best value.

FAQsCommon questions

In what order do the four programs run?+
They run in sequence: Linux Systems ProgrammingLinux Kernel InfrastructureLinux Device DriversEmbedded Linux on EdgeAI platforms. You move through them as one guided journey with the same mentor.
How does payment and EMI work for the combo?+
The track is sold as a single upfront registration at a combo price. We support EMI, UPI and cards — talk to the team for options. As the most complete path, it carries the biggest saving versus enrolling in the four programs individually.
Do I ever need to upgrade for more depth?+
No — the Mastery Track already includes the full depth. Kernel Infrastructure and Device Drivers are built in, so there's nothing to add later. If you only need to build and ship and not author kernel code, the lighter Fast-Track may suit you.
What are the prerequisites — and what if I've already done a program?+
You should be comfortable with Linux and C at a working level. If you've already completed one of the included programs (for example Linux Systems Programming or Device Drivers), tell us — we credit it toward the track so you only pay for what's left.
